Itinerary

  • Arrive in Kathmandu, transfer to hotel, and prepare for the trek. Explore the city if time permits.

  • Drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar (7-8 hours).

  • Trek from Besisahar to Chamje (5-6 hours).

  • Trek from Chamje to Dharapani (5-6 hours).

  • Trek from Dharapani to Chame (5-6 hours).

  • Trek from Chame to Upper Pisang (5-6 hours).

  • Trek from Upper Pisang to Pisang Base Camp (5-6 hours).

  • Rest and acclimatize at Pisang Base Camp. Short hikes around the base camp for better acclimatization.

  • Trek from Pisang Base Camp to Pisang High Camp (3-4 hours).

  • Early morning start for the summit push on Pisang Peak (6,091m).
  • Descend back to Pisang Base Camp after summiting (8-10 hours total).

  • Trek from Pisang Base Camp to Manang (5-6 hours).

  • Trek from Manang to Yak Kharka (3-4 hours).

  • Trek from Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi (3-4 hours).

  • Cross Thorong La Pass (5,416m) and descend to Muktinath (7-9 hours).

  • Trek from Muktinath to Jomsom (5-6 hours).

  • Fly from Jomsom to Pokhara. Relax and enjoy Pokhara, explore the lakeside or visit local attractions.

  • Drive or fly back to Kathmandu from Pokhara.

  • Generally includes accommodations in Kathmandu and during the trek in tea houses or lodges. Accommodations during camping at base and high camps for climbing may also be included.
  • Meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) during the trek. Meals in Kathmandu may or may not be included, depending on the package.
  • Annapurna Conservation Area Permit (ACAP) and TIMS (Trekkers' Information Management System) card.
  • Permit for climbing Pisang Peak and necessary documentation.
  • Basic climbing equipment such as ropes, ice axes, harnesses, and crampons. Sometimes, personal climbing gear needs to be rented or brought by climbers.
  • Experienced trekking guides and porters to carry luggage and assist during the trek and climb.
  • Ground transportation as per the itinerary (e.g., Kathmandu to Besisahar).
  • Flights from Jomsom to Pokhara (if applicable).
