Trip Highlights

  • Poon Hill: The journey up Poon Hill (3,210 metres) in the early morning is one of the primary attractions of the Ghorepani trip. Trekkers may take in expansive views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges from this location, which include peaks like Nilgiri, Annapurna South, and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail).
  • Cultural Experience: The walk offers an insight into the distinctive culture and way of life of the Gurung and Magar populations as it travels through a number of traditional villages.

  • Trek: Ghandruk to Nayapul (4-5 hours)
  • Drive: Nayapul to Pokhara (1-2 hours)
